Terms of Service

1. Parties & Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Employer" or "User") and SprachJet LLP, operating the SkillFlug Talent Hub platform at skillflug.com. By registering an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Platform Description

SkillFlug Talent Hub is a B2B recruitment platform exclusively for European equestrian businesses. The platform connects verified equestrian talent (Horse Groomers, Professional Riders, Stable Workers, Stable Managers, Yard Assistants) with registered employers including riding schools, horse studs, competition stables, and equestrian centres.

Important: SkillFlug is a B2B platform only.

Access to candidate profiles, documents, and contact information is restricted to approved employer accounts. Individual consumers may not register.

3. Employer Registration & Approval

1Employers must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date business information during registration.
2All employer accounts are subject to manual review and approval by the SkillFlug team before access is granted.
3SkillFlug reserves the right to reject or revoke any employer account at its sole discretion.
4Employers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
5Each employer account may only be used by the registered business entity — sharing credentials is prohibited.
6Employers must notify SkillFlug immediately of any unauthorized account access.

4. Permitted Use

✓ Permitted

  • Browsing verified candidate profiles
  • Shortlisting candidates for open positions
  • Requesting documents and interviews via platform
  • Communicating with SkillFlug team through platform
  • Downloading candidate CVs for internal hiring purposes

✗ Prohibited

  • Contacting candidates directly without SkillFlug mediation
  • Sharing candidate data with third parties
  • Using platform data for purposes other than hiring
  • Scraping, copying, or reproducing platform content
  • Creating multiple accounts for the same business
  • Misrepresenting your business or hiring intentions

5. Candidate Data & Confidentiality

Candidate profiles, documents, videos, and personal information are confidential and provided solely for the purpose of evaluating candidates for employment. Employers agree to:

  • •Treat all candidate data as strictly confidential
  • •Use candidate data only for the specific hiring decision at hand
  • •Not retain candidate data beyond the hiring process without explicit consent
  • •Comply with GDPR when processing candidate personal data as a data processor
  • •Report any data breach involving candidate information to SkillFlug within 24 hours

6. Fees & Payment

Platform access fees, placement fees, and subscription terms are agreed separately in the Employer Service Agreement. Key terms:

Placement FeePayable upon successful employment commencement of a placed candidate.
SubscriptionMonthly or annual access fees as per your selected plan.
Refund PolicyPlacement fees are refundable within 90 days if candidate leaves without cause.
Late PaymentOverdue invoices accrue interest at 9% above ECB base rate (§288 BGB).

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, design, software, trademarks, and data compilations are the exclusive property of SprachJet LLP and SkillFlug. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without prior written consent. Employers retain ownership of their own company data submitted to the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

SkillFlug provides the platform "as is" and makes no warranties regarding candidate suitability for specific roles. To the maximum extent permitted by German law:

  • !SkillFlug is not liable for employment decisions made by employers
  • !SkillFlug is not responsible for candidate performance after placement
  • !Total liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • !SkillFlug is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship with 30 days written notice. SkillFlug may immediately suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment. Upon termination, employer access is revoked and data is handled per our Privacy Policy retention schedule.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Cologne (Köln), Germany. Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation for a minimum of 30 days.
